The Tromblys

Richard, his wife Maria, and their two children, Anastasia and Basil, own a house on a farm in Western Massachusetts.

Now that the kids are older, Richard and Maria have decided to move the family to China, to the Shanghai area and will rent out the house while they are gone. If you are interested in renting a four-bedroom farmhouse, with living room, dining room, large home office, and enormous all-season sun room, don't hesitate to contact Maria at maria@trombly.com.

Getting here:

Not so easy. You can check out this Rand McNally link for maps and directions to 89 Michael Sears Rd.
In general, you can get to Belchertown by taking Route 9 from Amherst and Northampton, or the Turnpike from Springfield and Boston. Then you need to get on Route 181, which runs north-south from the pike to Route 9. If you get off the pike at Exit 8 (Palmer), the folks at the tollbooth will give you directions because they get a lot of people getting off here to go to UMass.

If you take Route 9 in, turn south at one of Belchertown's few traffic lights (by the Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds). You'll be on Route 202 for a brief period as you go past the town green, then Route 202 will turn off and you'll be on Route 181.

Once you're on Route 181, it's about a five-minute drive to our house. If you're coming from the south, turn right on Michael Sears Rd. and drive to the top of the big hill. We're the white house on the right. If you see a big rock with the name "Trombly" on it, you've gone one driveway too far (that's the grandparents). If you're coming from the north, turn left onto Cold Spring Rd. (It's at the of the hill just after the Mill Valley golf course.) Then keep right at the Y and we're the first house on the left after the cattle crossing sign.
